50 YEARS SINCE THE REPOSE of Abbess Ana
The actual day of the repose of our Mother Ana (Abbess from 1948 to 1975) was November 18th, but the commemoration was moved to Sunday, November 23rd. We can freely say that one of the miracles attributed to Mother Ana is the fact that, although we watched a blizzard begin the previous evening and feared the snow might hinder our guests' arrival, by morning there was almost no trace of it...
St. George day 2025
On the day of the Holy Great Martyr George, 16.11.2025. – Đurđic, the Vraćevšnica monastery celebrated its “preslava”. In addition to the monks from Voljavča, Miljkovo and Kovilj, the Bishop was welcomed by a large number of believers. The Bishop, Metropolitan of Žička, Mr. G. Justin, served the Holy Liturgy with the parish priest, Father Božidar, and the retired dean from Gornji Milanovac, Father Čeda.
SAINT GEORGE’S DAY CELEBRATED IN THE MONASTERY
After the terrible fire in the Vraćevšnica monastery, the day of St. George, gathered a large number of faithful and curious people to the monastery for service. All eyes were on the new inn, which rose from the ashes incredibly quickly, with the help and efforts of good people.

A memorial room was opened, dedicated to Sreten Adžić and his famous daughter, the abbess of the Vraćevšnica Monastery, Mother Ana. In the memorial room, there were her personal items, books, icons, important archival material. this exhibition has been spreading the grace of Mother Ana throughout Serbia and the region.
